Symposium of the Association of Structural Engineers ofSerbia was held in Arandjelovac during May 13-15 2021. Members of the Institutehad a very notable participation.

The symposium was attended by 6 members, who presented 6papers. As authors or co-authors of papers, a total of 13 members of the Institutetook part at the Symposium.

Assist. Prof. Dr. Marko Marinković was awarded for the best scientific achievement in structural engineering for 2018 and 2019, for his doctoral dissertation Innovative system for seismic resistant masonryinfills in reinforced concrete frame structures.

Asist. Marija Milojević was awarded for the best work ofyoung researchers, for the presentation of the paper Effects of material uncertainties on vibration performance cross laminated timber floors.

The next Symposium of ASES will be held in the fall of 2022, and we hope for even more active participation and success of the members of the Institute.
