This is the official presentation of the Institute for Numerical Analysis and Design of Structures and the Chair for Engineering Mechanics and Theory of Structures at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade. The Institute was founded in 2002 carrying on the tradition of the Engineering Computational Center who was the pioneer in the computational analysis and design of structures. Members of the Chair for Engineering Mechanics and Theory of Structures, including 13 professors and 8 PhD students, are involved in the wide range of activities carried out within the Institute.
